This coffee hails from the town of Yabito Tome in Uraga which is part of the Guji Zone. Nestled between Shakiso and Hambela, Uraga has been increasingly gaining a reputation for some of the most distinct coffees of Ethiopia. Occupying the high alitudes around 2000 masl, small producers grow heirloom varietals around the town and deliver to the Yabito Tome Washing Station. Great coffees from Guji are renknowed for an intense, almost confectionery like sweetness & effervescent clarity. This years harvest from Yabito Tome is showing all that and some with juicy peach, lemonade & artificial raspberry notes.
This is a grade 1 coffee, the top grade, which means it’s been sorted several times in order to remove the maximum amount of defects.
