Mubuga washing station in Ngozi Burundi accepts coffee from over 1900 local farmers. This washing station has 12 fermentation tanks, three soaking tanks, over 300 drying tables, and four selection tables. It has quite the impressive infrastructure for selecting and processing exceptional ripe cherries.
Harvest here is typically April through June, but coffee's have a long journey to export from this landlocked country.
Coffee is processed at the BUDECA, SIVCA dry mill prior to export.
